Job Description (Experience):
The Business Analyst in IT will analyze business processes, identify areas for improvement, and propose IT solutions to enhance the company's operations. This role involves gathering business requirements, documenting processes, and working with the development team to implement technology solutions that address business needs.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Business Requirements Gathering:
- Engage with stakeholders to understand business processes, workflows, and system requirements.
- Document and translate business needs into detailed specifications for the IT development team.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between business objectives and IT strategies.
- Process Analysis:
- Analyze existing business processes and identify gaps or inefficiencies.
- Propose process improvements through automation or system enhancements.
- Conduct cost-benefit analysis and feasibility studies to evaluate potential solutions.
- Solution Design & Implementation:
- Work with IT developers to design solutions that meet business requirements.
- Ensure that solutions are technically feasible, scalable, and aligned with company goals.
- Participate in system design, testing, and implementation, ensuring user requirements are met.
- Data Analysis & Reporting:
- Collect, analyze, and interpret data to drive informed decision-making.
- Create reports and dashboards to monitor business performance and system efficiency.
- Ensure data integrity and provide recommendations based on data insights.
- Testing & Quality Assurance:
- Develop test plans and scripts to ensure system functionality aligns with business requirements.
- Coordinate and participate in user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Identify and resolve defects or issues prior to system go-live.
- Documentation:
- Create and maintain comprehensive business and system documentation.
- Prepare training materials and user guides for stakeholders and end-users.
- Ensure proper documentation of processes, procedures, and system configurations.
Experienced:
1 to 3 years working as a graphic designer in a creative agency or similar environment.
Desired Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience with business process modeling tools and techniques.
- Proficiency in database management, SQL, or other query languages is a plus.
- Understanding of IT infrastructure, cloud technologies, and system integrations.
